Our first Liberian store passed its ¥600,000 monthly target within two months

An update on Selfie Laundromat's first store in Liberia, which opened at All Star Mall in Monrovia on July 25, 2026: within two months of opening, the store passed its monthly revenue target of ¥600,000.

Far more efficient than in Japan

The Liberian store is running far more efficiently than coin laundries in Japan. Reaching this level within two months of launch is a strong signal for us.

Plenty of demand ahead

This is not the finish line. There is still plenty of demand in Monrovia, and we will keep working with the local team to reach more customers.

A store customers truly appreciate

Most of all, we are glad that our customers tell us how much they appreciate the store. Getting back the time once spent on washing is a value that comes across directly.

A washing machine delivers more than clean clothes. It delivers time to move life forward.

On to the next store, and the next country

This result belongs to our local partner Suah Alfred and the team behind the store. We will carry this momentum to the next store and the next country.

We are hiring people to help us open more stores like this one — see We're hiring.
